Cleanest City Of India : Indore

Hey guys welcome to my first travel blog.😄

It was Mid-Sept 2019 and we planned a trip to Indore. Before I share my amazing experiences in Indore here's the brief introduction to cleanest city in India which is also commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh. Happy Reading😎

  • It is situated on Malwa Plateau on banks of small rivers Saraswati and the Kahn. This city came under the rules of Maratha Kings of Holkar Dynasty when Dynasty's founder Malhar Rao Holkar was appointed as Governor of Malwa Region by Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao. Malhar Rao Holkar was succeeded by his daughter-in-law Ahilyabai Bai Holkar, one of the greatest women in Indian History.

  • Indore is the city which have significant impact on finance, commerce, fashion ,research, technology, education etc.

  • The only city in India which has both IIT (Indian Institute Of Technology) and IIM (Indian Institute Of Management). With latest technological advancements it had became IT-hub in Madhya Pradesh.

Here's My Story Enjoy😄

Indore is 249.9km far from my hometown Malkapur, Maharashtra. It was not so far so we planned the road trip. The road trip is through Satpura Ranges and River Narmada so it is enjoyable and adventurous too.We reached our destination by afternoon and started exploring city by evening.
Jungle Area On The Route

Day-1
It was late evening and the most wonderful place to visit at this time was Sarafa Bazaar. This is really unique place in the city as in day-time we can only see jewelry shops everywhere but at night it becomes Khau-Galli means everywhere there are food shops and stalls.I ate Indore Specialties like Sabudana khichri , Dahi-Wada and some most tempting sweets like Rabri, Malpua etc. This shops are open till  morning.

Day-2
Our Next stop was the Lal Bagh Palace. It is one of the finest building in the city and there's garden too which according to me is best in central India. The Main gate of Palace seems like Buckingham Palace entrance. Some part of palace is converted into historical museum in which there are antique artefacts& paintings from Holkar era.Rooms in palace were very impressive as they were having amazing paintings and designs.

Day-3

We Reached our final stop 30 kms away from City known as Patalpani Water-Falls.This destination is also connected by railways &Special Heritage train runs from Indore to reach here.It is famous picnic point which is often occupied by huge crowd. The place is enjoyable in monsoon and we were at right time here.Flora surrounding to area is worth watching in monsoon.Try masala bhutta and mirchi pakoda which are prepared by localites and as they are famous here.
