Can Virtual Learning replace Campus Classrooms | Education System During COVID-19

Is online education going to replace classroom education? What will be the future of education system ?This questions repeatedly might come in your mind due to this pandemic situations.

Few years ago Virtual learning was experimental initiative.Educators started using digital tools,E-class systems etc and today virtual learning provides many platforms such as mail, online chats,video conferencing through which teachers and students can interact with each other.Many students have strong visual memory so they are willingly interested to learn by online modes.Long-Distance Learning is only possible due to online education.E-learning can be a good substitute in Emergency situations only.

E-Learning though have many advantages but it face its own challenges to.According to me its still not a replacement to our traditional classroom systems.

A Teacher-Student Relationship can best established in classroom only.The daily Q&A sessions and interactions between student and teachers cannot go that well in online learning modes.Active interactions in classrooms leads to development in communication skills and teach the student how to live in society.Completing Syllabus can remain target in online system but Question arises What about the life skills? Traditional Classroom system is complete Education package.It is not limited to completion of syllabus but further teaches discipline,manners and morals to students.These valuable traits are difficult to inject through virtual learning.In Classroom we are visible clearly to our teachers so they know our body language .They know whether student is focusing in class or have lost his attention but in online system student may be playing games or using social media in background and has completely lost his focus. Further online modes of education can cause impact on health.According to me Traditional Education System is clear cut winner.

E-Learning may seem to be a good platform in recent times but Can Everyone Access it? It requires a decent internet connection , smartphone or laptop but not every student can afford it So What about them?

E-Learning may be a decent option in emergency situations but it can't replace the classroom system.
