That Memorable Vacations Spent With Friends...

Part 1

It is said that even planning a trip gives something to look forward to and brings happiness- and it is so true-with friends. But I must say traveling with friends always brings out a different side of who you are. It leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks are on our hearts and they are beautiful.

One day Trunay and I were discussing semester exams and practicals. Suddenly I asked him What we will do after the exam? Are we going to follow the same routine Go to your hometown, eat, sleep and repeat for a month? Now our focus was shifted to an after-exam discussion which now looks more important than this semester's exam shit. So Trunay said we should plan a trip of 5-6days. I and Trunay finalized the location where we need to travel after a lot of discussions. The city on the Eastern Coast Of India is Vishakhapatnam. The city is also famously known as the "City Of Destiny".Later we told our plan to everyone and all agreed. Despite of we were having our semester exams ahead we were all busy planning the trip. Shreyash made the complete travel itinerary.

Since we are now clear about our destination, we all want to make sure that no one ditches it at the last moment. The only idea we came up with let’s to book the Train ticket right now to Vizag. But without the permission of parents, it was not possible, immediately everyone dialed numbers in their homes to take permission and not a single request got rejected.

We all seven friends got freaking excited much in advance and were eagerly waiting to board the train after a couple of days of completion of semester exams.

Nearly One Month Later...

We were done with the exams and now it was time to travel...

It was 27 June 2022 and we(Trunay, Sanket, and I)boarded the train Gandhidham-Vishakhapatnam Express at 2P.M. from Malkapur.

After an hour we reached Akola Junction where we were supposed to meet Adish, Shreyash, and Manav. We picked them up and boarded the train. Later at night, we reached Chandrapur where we picked up Shreyash Rane and boarded the train. Rane brought the tiffin and we completed the dinner. Post Dinner we were having some conversations about college. Later at midnight, we crossed Warangal and I slept.

After waking up in the morning it was drizzling and we were somewhere in Andhra Pradesh after glancing outside the window everywhere Mountains, Rice Fields, and Coconut Trees started to appear.

Day 1

We reached Vizag city at 11 AM. We started searching for a hotel by asking local rickshawalas who were standing around the railway station. They took us to a hotel and we did not regret taking their advice. We got a good hotel at a cheap price. We checked into the hotel and after a couple of hours of rest, decided to explore the city. We were feeling hungry as we have not eaten anything after last night's dinner. So we asked the hotel manager about any good restaurants nearby and he told us to visit a restaurant named Sree Sai Ganesh Parlour. It served authentic food. We tried dosa there and trust me it was the best dosa I ever had.

Later we picked up a rickshaw and headed toward Rushikonda Beach. The scenic view by road was mesmerizing and it felts like the Marine drive.

After traveling a few more miles we finally reached our location Rushikonda Beach and spent the evening there. At the beach life is different. Time doesn't move from hour to hour but from mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides, and follow the sun.

Speed Boat Ride Is Also Available At Rushikonda Beach

After some time...
Moon started to appear...high tides on the beach...such a mesmerizing view...

Due to restrictions at the beach at night after 8 PM, we left the beach. By this time we all were hungry and tired. We tried authentic Chettinad Cusine for dinner and it was tempting and mouth-watering. Post dinner we directly headed towards our hotel as we have to catch another train for Araku in the early morning.
